Australian singer-songwriter, Courtney Barnett, and Pennsylvania native, Kurt Vile collaborate on their latest LP, Lotta Sea Lice (2017). Vile has pursued his solo career as well as his work as a guitarist for The War on Drugs since his 2008 studio release, Constant Hitmaker. Courtney Barnett released her debut album, Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit in 2015, marking her entrance into the indie-shoegaze scene.


Chazwick Bear, known professionally as Toro y Moi, has produced music in the chillwave movement since his 2010 release, Causers Of This. Bear has also collaborated with Travi$ Scott on Rodeo (2015) and The Avalanches on Wildflower (2016). His style espouses retro, hazy pop sounds with minorly distorted vocals.


Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead and bluegrass mandolinist David Grisman cover traditional folk songs and personal compositions on their collaboration, Shady Grove, which was recorded from 1990-93.


Peter Matthew Bauer has released a single LP (Liberation!, 2014) with Fleet Foxes’ Skyler Skjelset since his former project, The Walkmen has gone on indefinite hiatus. His next album, Mount Qaf, is due to be released in November 2017.


Florida lo-fi duo SALES is made up of musicians Lauren Morgan and Jordan Shih. The group has released six singles since 2013. Most recently, their first self-titled LP was released in 2016.


Formed in Toronto in 2011, Alvvays is made up of lead-singer Molly Rankin, Kerri MacLellan, Alec O’Hanley, Brian Murphy, and Sheridan Riley. Hailing from Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton, Alvvays creates a dreamy, east-coast indie vibe with their blend of vocal talent and synth/guitar riffs.


Maryland native Joshua Tillman is known professionally as Father John Misty. Tillman formerly drummed for Seattle band Fleet Foxes from 2008 through 2012 when he separated to pursue his solo career. Most recently, his album, Pure Comedy was released in January of 2017.


Toronto native Neil Young has been active in a bevy of associated acts including Crosby, Stills, and Nash and Young in 1970. However, this group separated with Young due to creative differences, and Young’s notable solo career began. On The Beach was released in 1974 and was his fifth studio album.


Originating in London, America was formed by sons of US Air Force personnel posted in England. Their discography spans over 40 years with their debut album and one of their most notable releases, America, released in 1971.


The Clientele formed in 1991 in London, England with Alasdair MacLean, Mark Keen, and James Hornsey. The band went on a brief hiatus after their 2010 release, Minotaur. This ended with the release of their eighth studio album, Music for the Age of Miracles in 2017.
